Dr. Swinderman received his bachelor degree from Case Western Reserve University. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry (Go Buckeyes) where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Swinderman’s passion is helping people and since beginning in 2007, he has found a way to enjoy this passion through dentistry. Dr. Swinderman’s great team of highly skilled dental professionals share his passion in helping people to achieve healthier living through great dental health.
Dr. Swinderman believes that it’s crucial to stay current with the ever changing techniques and technology in dentistry and is involved in several professional affiliations. This is done to ensure that his patients are receiving the most effective, most comfortable and least invasive care possible.

Community Outreach
Being a part of such a great, tight knit community here in Greenville has allowed Dr. Swinderman the opportunity to give back. He has participated in the state sponsored DAD (Dental Access Days) Project, providing dental services for the underserved in the community. Dr. Swinderman has also participated in Hispanic Outreach Day, and Piedmont Women’s Center Outreach Day, providing dental care for patients in need. He volunteers at the Greenville Free Medical Clinic regularly and most recently has been appointed as faculty of the Medical University of South Carolina. This volunteer position allows him to work alongside fourth year dental students from MUSC and oversee them during their clinical rounds at the Greenville Free Medical Clinic.
Outside of the Office
Dr. Swinderman grew up in Cleveland, Ohio (Go Browns). He completed his undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve University. He then moved to Columbus for dental school and earned his dental degree at Ohio State. Shortly after dental school he made his way to Greenville.
Dr. Swinderman has three children, Will, Caroline and Hayes. They love spending time together with family and friends doing anything outdoors. Dr. Swinderman is an avid sports fan, especially college football.
